Literature is a representation of the multiple aspects of life, with authors weaving tales around human emotions and aspirations. Aarushi Tandon, a student of class eleventh has unleashed her creativity to create her debut novel- ‘The isle of the lost legend’. She was honoured by Principal Dr Rashmi Vij in an interactive session organised by the Readers’ Club and Literary Club. Aarushi briefed the students about her book and her experiences during her journey to become an author. ‘The isle of the lost legend’ is a captivating tale about the adventures of a group of young treasure hunters. The book abounds in unexpected twists and adventure.
Principal Dr Rashmi Vij congratulated the budding author. In her address, she stressed on the immense importance of reading which paves way to becoming an accomplished writer. She motivated students to follow the footsteps of their seniors and make conscious efforts to enhance their writing skills.
In an interactive session, the students of both the clubs put forward their queries which were responded to by Aarushi. Mr Manoj Dutta and Ms Preeti Chaudhary put forward their thoughts and expressed their immense pride as teachers on Aarushi ‘s accomplishment. Ms Kanchan, Ms Jaspreet Boparai, Ms Preeti Khehra, Ms Ritu Monga and Mr Ajayveer were also present on the occasion.
