FAREWELL PARTY - POLICE DAV PUBLIC SCHOOL

Farewells mark not an end but a new beginning. Students of class twelfth step out of the thresholds of their Alma Mater to enter a world of whole new possibilities. A farewell party for the students of class 12th was organized at Police DAV Public School, Jalandhar. Principal Dr. Rashmi Vij was the guest of honour. The preparations were done under the supervision of Mr Rajkumar and Ms Neetu Gupta. Supervisors Ms Urvashi, Ms Sonia Kukreja, Ms Amita Rathour, Ms Gargi and Cordinators Ms Rashmi Bhalla, Ms Kavita and Ms Seema graced the occasion. The welcome address marked the commencement of the event. A melodious musical presentation by the orchestra and the group song presented by the students of class eleventh mesmerized all present there.

Emotions welled as the head girl, Niharika and head boy, Amritpal expressed gratitude towards the Principal and teachers for their tremendous contribution in shaping their lives. Their words were a reflection of their emotions that they felt as they recalled the precious moments spent in the school which was a second home for them. The cake cutting ceremony was followed by an enchanting dance performance. The audience was enthralled by the songs presented by Piyush and Rahul and later by Anjali and Arjun, all students of class twelfth.

It was a treat to behold students modelling in their colourful attires, brimming with confidence. During the ‘question’ round, students endeavoured to express their perspective on the questions put to them by Principal Dr Rashmi Vij.

The judges on the occasion were Ms Gargi, Ms Kavita and Ms Jaspreet Shahi. A Bhangra performance enthralled one and all. The students were honored with various titles by Principal Dr. Rashmi Vij. These include the following –
