Police DAV Public School today celebrated ‘Founders’ Day’ which marked the completion of 29 Glorious years of the school. The foundation of the school was laid in the year 1996. Since then the school has witnessed tremendous progress and has become a renowned institute known for all round excellence. ‘Sukhmani Sahib path’ was held in the premises of the school to express gratitude and seek divine benedictions for the bright future of the institution. Shabads sung by the students and the music department dipped the atmosphere in divine aura. Principal Dr Rashmi Vij graced the occasion and congratulated the staff and students on this momentous occasion.
Founders’ Day was also celebrated in the primary wing. A small play was enacted by the students wherein , the children learnt the importance of the day. The students took pledge to be disciplined, hard-working, kind, compassionate and to value school property. The song presented by the teachers made all delve deep into the love for the school. The students of classes 2nd to 5th made beautiful cards on the occasion of the special day. Principal, Dr Rashmi Vij encouraged children to develop a sense of gratitude and applauded the efforts made by them. The event was organised under the guidance of Supervisor Ms. Gargi Sharma.
