“Painting is silent poetry, and poetry is painting that speaks”
Police DAV Public School, Jalandhar organised Hindi Recitation Competition for the students of classes ll to V . Such activities help the children to develop confidence, improve vocabulary and to get rid of stage fear. Students touched different areas with their impressive poems. For classes, ll and lll children participated in group poem recitation .The aim of this competition was for them to work together as a team in order to put together a well-coordinated and coherent group recitation. The teachers worked with each group of children in order to train them and bring out their best. All the eight sections of classes ll and lll exhibited a well- rounded poetry performance. Children showed a great zeal, enthusiasm and presented their best. It was a delightful sight to watch children recite elegantly and gracefully.Props used by them enhanced their presentation. Overall it was a very enriching experience for the spectators and an enjoyable experience for the participants.
The competition was judged on the basis of content, linguistic proficiency, rhyme and rhythm , and presentation.The children of ll, lll , lV and V set the stage ablaze with their stunning bhangra performance.
The event was executed in the presence of our honourable ma’am principal, Dr. Rashmi Vij. She motivated the students with her valuable words and appreciated their efforts. The event was organised under the supervision of Ms. Gargi.
