An intra class debate competition was held at Police DAV Public School, Jalandhar. Principal Dr Rashmi Vij graced the occasion as the Chief guest. Supervisors Mr Rajkumar and Ms Urvashi extended their guidance and support to make the event a success. The students from classes ninth to twelfth debated on a variety of themes. They put forward their opinions and arguments effectively and confidently. The event was coordinated by Mr Manoj Dutta, Ms Preeti Khehra and Ms Neetu Gupta. All the English teachers helped the students to prepare for the debate.
The students debated on the following topics- ‘Can AI replace human jobs?’, ‘Fitness Industry promotes Unrealistic Beauty standards’, ‘Does Current Education System Prepare Students for the Real World?’, ‘Should Tabs/ Laptops Replace the Text Books In The Classrooms’, ‘Social media helps us gain friends’ and ‘Conducting tests on animals should be banned’.
