An Intra Class Rhyme Recitation Activity for classes ll to V was organised in Police DAV Public School,Jalandhar. The students of classes ll and lll were drilled for group poem activity. Our cute poets enjoyed the beauty of expression, thought, feeling, rhyme, rhythm and the music of words. The main purpose behind conducting such competitions is to build self confidence, develop the oratory skills and self expression. Children came up with different ideas of poems and recited them with great zeal and enthusiasm. A small play related to ‘Our School, Our Pride’ captivated everyone’s attention . Principal, Dr Rashmi Vij graced the occasion with her charismatic presence . The event was a great success under the guidance of Ms.Gargi Sharma.
