POLICE DAV DAY

As the adage states, “You may leave school, but it never leaves you.” Graduates depart their alma mater to embark on new life chapters, yet cherished childhood memories endure. The “Police DAV DAY,” hosted by the Police DAV Alumni Angels Welfare Society, provides a valuable opportunity for global alumni to reconnect and reminisce.

“Police DAV Day 2025 – Homecoming – Where the Journey Begins,” held on school premies under the auspices of DAV UNITED and the expert guidance of Principal Dr. Rashmi Vij, welcomed approximately 130 alumni.

Ms. Chandermohini delivered the welcome address to commence the event. Supervisors Mr. Raj Kumar and Ms. Urvashi received a floral welcome. A lamp-lighting ceremony invoked blessings. This was followed by the DAV Gaan. Students captivated the audience with a spectacular instrumental music performance.

A PowerPoint presentation detailed the Society’s various programs, including blood donation drives, motivational lectures by successful alumni, sports days, and support for underprivileged students. The presentation also highlighted the school’s remarkable 28-year journey from its humble beginnings to its current standing.

Dr. Rashmi Vij, Principal, delivered a video message encouraging alumni to actively participate in Society affairs, remain connected to their roots, and contribute wholeheartedly to the Society’s initiatives. She urged them to observe the first Saturday of June as “Police DAV DAY,” regardless of their location.

A captivating cultural program, performed by current students, was enjoyed by all. Distinguished alumni, including Amandeep Kaur, Parampreet Kaur, Rajat Kumar, Santokh Singh, Anuriti, and Nidhi Sharma, expressed sincere gratitude for the school’s role in shaping their character and instilling strong values. They shared their experiences with fellow alumni. Mr. Navjot Singh Thind, an alumnus, delivered the vote of thanks.
