Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s Prakash Utsav was celebrated at Police DAV Public School, PAP Campus, Jalandhar Cantt. Students in the primary wing were given information about the life of the first Guru, Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji and the bani composed by him. The meaning of the Mool Mantra was explained to the children followed by a shabad and a poem devoted to Guru Nanak Dev Ji.
On this occasion, Siropa was also given to Principal Dr. Rashmi Vij. She acquainted the children with the teachings of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji and how we can become righteous individuals by following His teachings. The programme was coordinated by the Department of Punjabi under the guidance of supervisor Ms Gargi Sharma. The stage was conducted by Ms Harpreet Mann.
