Ved Prachar week was celebrated at Police DAV Public School, Jalandhar. Under this, Suryakant of class VII gave information about the importance of Vedas in the assembly. Havan Yagna was organised in the school. It involved the use of 51 kunds. Principal Dr. Rashmi Vij, who was the ‘yajman’ along with teachers and students offered oblations in the fire. Vedic mantras were chanted by the students of classes VII to IX.
