An adventure Camp is an effective educational tool to inculcate essential life skills in students. With this objective in view, a six-day adventure camp was organized by Bharat Scouts and Guides Punjab Unit, Police DAV Public School, Jalandhar Cantt under the able mentorship of Principal Dr. Rashmi Vij. Various activities undertaken during the camp not only enhanced the knowledge and awareness among students but also equipped them with many life skills, increased their confidence and gave a taste of adventure and thrill. The students participated in various exciting activities like white water rafting, zipline, plank bridge, Burma bridge, trekking, rope bridge, river crossing, trekking etc. in the valley camp organized in Manali. They also savored the natural beauty of Rohtang – Solang Valley, Manali and Kullu and sought divine blessings at Shri Manikaran Sahib Gurudwara.
The camp was coordinated by Scout Master Mr Baljeet Singh and Guide Captain Ms Monica Rana.
