A two day capacity building and training programme was organized at Police DAV Public School, Jalandhar under the able guidance of ARO Dr. Rashmi Vij, Principal, Police DAV Public School, Jalandhar and Cluster Head Mr Yogesh Gambhir, Principal, DRV DAV Public School, Phillaur, under the aegis of DAV CAE.
The observer on this occasion was Ms Anita Nanda, Principal, Lala Jagat Narain DAV Model School, Jalandhar.
Around 220 teachers teaching subjects like Maths, Science, Physical Education, Dance and Music from seven schools under Jalandhar zone participated in this training programme.
On this occasion, ARO Dr. Rashmi Vij stressed on the significance of the seminars through which the teachers get acquainted with new pedagogy and are able to polish their skills. She encouraged life time learning to bring constant improvement in oneself as a teacher.
During the training programme, resource persons trained teachers regarding various aspects of their subject and ways to improve pedagogy and learning through various activities, videos and PPTs. Teachers from various schools interacted and shared their views and best practices.
