The International Day Against Violence and Bullying was observed at Police DAV Public School, Jalandhar under the able guidance of Principal Dr Rashmi Vij. The event aimed at spreading awareness about the increasing violence and bullying among students. A short film, ‘Chuppi Todo’, based on this theme was shown to the students on this occasion. The students were acquainted with the effects of violence and bullying and ways to overcome bullying through a PPT.
Principal Dr. Rashmi Vij addressed the students and gave the message to stay away from social evils like violence and bullying. She stressed on the fact that one must develop mental strength to courageously face the negative behaviour of others. The event was coordinated by Ms Suruchi Suri and Mr Rajeev Verma.
