A Carpentry workshop was organised at Police DAV Public School, Jalandhar under the able guidance of Principal Dr Yogesh Gambhir. The objective of the workshop was to impart skills to students under the “Skill India Skilled India” programme, under the National Education Policy and National Curriculum Framework. The eighth-grade students were taught about the usage of tools used by carpenters. This information was imparted by carpenters Mr Bootaram, Mr Michael, Mr Vijaypal, and Mr Jarnail.
The students also interacted with them and visited the workshop.
This session was conducted under the supervision of Supervisor Ms Sonia Kukreja.
