Welcome Alumni

The word ‘alumni’ at once configures in mind lovely faces of school friends – few hazy and other crystal clear and series of fond memories that surface the strong yearning to meet & know what everyone is doing in life?

Police DAV Alumni Association was established in year 2012 and is a registered organization. It came into being with the prime objective for building an engaged and supportive alumni community appropriate to world class educational institution embedded with DAV ethos and values. It provides a platform to ex-students of the school to reconnect and foster friendship & fellowship, meet and share experiences and contribute to the success of the students studying in the school and enhance the glory of their Alma mater.

The alumni members receive regular updates on all activities & projects and can join programs of their interest.

We look forward to hearing from you.

Principal’s Message

An alma mater’s alumni are the reflection of its past, representation of its present and link to its future.

In one’s life, the most cherished memories are always of the school. We fondly remember the meaningless giggling, the silly mistakes and pranks, the time spent in snacking in the canteen together, the competitions we participated in, and the maximum stars, medals and trophies we won. Even the affectionate chidings and words of wisdom uttered by teachers which still haunt us and the longing always remains in the heart to revert back to school days and relive those moments. The clock cannot be turned back, but we can reconnect with our school by joining the Alumni Association and participating in the events organized by the school. This portal has been created to reconnect with alumni members, teachers and students, and share their fond memories and success stories.

Dear Alumni, you are the brand ambassadors of our institution, in fact, the most significant stakeholders. Together, we can tread on the path to provide best learning experience to our learners and help them carve out a successful career for themselves. The school is providing free and subsidized education to many but with joint efforts, large numbers can reap the benefit. Many students lag behind due to dearth of resources. Even if we cannot help many but can certainly help someone. A small drop can make an oceanic difference to the life of someone. The great Buddha taught that anyone who experiences the delight of being truly generous will never want to eat another meal without sharing it. To know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have truly succeeded.

I am positive, many of you as loyal Police DAVians, will lay aside for a few days the mundane routine, catch the Police DAV spirit and be instrumental in shaping the life course of someone else.
