Exposure to real life industrial processes plays a vital role in bridging the gap between classroom learning and the practical world of business. It goes a long way in developing a practical perspective on the functioning of the corporate and industrial sector. With this objective in view, an industrial visit was organised for students of class twelfth of the Commerce Stream under the able guidance of Principal Dr Yogesh Gambhir. Around hundred students visited JMP Industries, Jalandhar,FC Sondhi Pvt Limited Jalandhar and Mrs Bector Foods Specialities Ltd (Cremica) Phillaur. They were accompanied by the teachers of the Department of Commerce.
During the visit, the students were acquainted with the procedure of production. The students got a deep insight into the various industrial processes, the knowledge of which would come handy in their future endeavours.
