The 26th District Roller Hockey Championship was organized at Police DAV Public School, Jalandhar. The Roller Hockey Championship was earlier inaugurated by President of District Jalandhar Roller Skating Association, Dr. Rashmi Vij who graced the occasion as the chief guest. On this occasion, Hargun Hundal, Armaan and Harnaaz Kaur, who have achieved fame at the national level, were honored with trophies. In this championship, girls and boys participated in quad and inline competitions in speed skating from the age group of under 4 years to the age group of above 18 years.
Principal Dr. Yogesh Gambhir distributed medals to the winning players.
The special guest in the roller hockey competitions held on the second day was Mr. Ajay Chopra, Vice President District Roller Skating Association, Jalandhar. On this occasion, Skating Coach Dilbagh Singh Kahlon, Dimpy Malik, Sarvish Oberoi, Manish Kumar, Balram Kumar, Paramjit Bakshis Singh, Ajay Mehra and Surinder Singh were also present. The results of the roller hockey competition were as follows – Jalandhar B team stood first and Jalandhar A team stood second. Mr. Ajay Chopra gave away medals to the winners.
