Talent hunt competition was organized for the students of classes VI to VIII at Police DAV Public School, Jalandhar. Around 80 children showcased their talent. The competition was inaugurated by Principal Dr. Rashmi by lighting the lamp. The programme was co-ordinated by supervisors Ms Amita Rathore and Ms Sonia Kukreja.
The jury comprised of Mr Jagdeep Bawra from Mayor World School, Ms Pooja, former head of the Dance Department, HMV and Ms Sweety Sidhana, Head of the Dance Department, Police DAV Public School. Other teachers from the music and dance department – Ms Laxmi, Ms Reena, Ms Preeti Teena and Ms Laxmiprabha, all of whom had chiselled the talent of the students, were also present on the occasion.
A short comic play was presented by the children of classes VI to VIII. Everyone was amused by the hilarious presentation. The play was prepared under the supervision of Mr Nandlal, Ms Zeena and Ms Pushpinder.
Principal Dr. Rashmi Vij honoured the winning students by giving them certificates.
