Guru Nanak Jayanti, also known as Gurpurab, was celebrated with reverence at Police DAV Public School, Jalandhar for classes ll to V. The occasion was marked by a soulful recitation of Shabad, “ਜਿੱਥੇ ਬਾਬਾ ਪੈਰ ਧਰੇ ਉਹ ਧਰਤਿ ਸੁਹਾਵੀ ਹੋਇ…followed by a sacred Prabhat Pheri procession, that filled the campus with devotion and spiritual fervor. Ma’am principal, Dr. Rashmi distributed prasad to the sangat gathered for the Prabhat Pheri .She in her address, highlighted the enduring relevance of Guru Nanak’s teachings. She emphasized that these teachings are not limited to religious observance but should guide our everyday actions and thinking, shaping us into more compassionate and responsible individuals. The event brought together students and staff to honor the teachings and legacy of Guru Nanak Dev Ji, fostering unity and spiritual reflection. The event was supervised by Ms.Gargi Sharma.
