The National Cadet Corps (NCC) is one of the most positive and impactful youth organizations in India, playing a vital role in shaping character, values, and responsible citizenship among students. The discipline and training imparted to NCC cadets help develop a strong value system and a positive attitude towards life.
The NCC Wing of the School aims to nurture leadership qualities, a spirit of adventure, national integration and a sense of social responsibility among student cadets.
NCC Wings in the School
The school has three Junior Division (JD/JW) wings for boys and girls, comprising:
- Army Wing (2 PB BN NCC, JALANDHAR)
- Air Wing (1 PB AIR SQN NCC, JALANDHAR)
- Naval Wing (2 PB NAVAL UNIT, AMRITSAR)
Each wing provides structured training aligned with NCC guidelines, ensuring holistic development through physical training, drill, leadership tasks and community service.

Objectives
- To inspire students to become a part of NCC and experience real leadership training.
- To instill a sense of patriotism, discipline, and national pride.

- To make cadets aware of the value of service and indebtedness to the Nation.
- To encourage students to pursue careers in the Armed Forces and other uniformed services.
Training & Activities
NCC training focuses on the all-round development of cadets through:
- Drill and discipline
- Physical fitness and endurance training
- Weapon training (as per NCC syllabus)
- Map reading and field craft
- Leadership camps and annual training camps
- Social service and community development programs
- Participation in national events, rallies, and celebrations
