The closing ceremony of the two-day DAV National Sports 2022 Zonal Level Tournament was organized at Police DAV Public School, PAP Campus, Jalandhar
The sports included Archery, Boxing, Swimming, Skating, Shooting, Kabaddi, Football, Hockey, Wrestling, Lawn Tennis and Gymnastics. Both boys and girls competed in the tournament. Around 600 players from 4 clusters participated at the zonal level.
On the occasion of the closing ceremony, Principal Dr. Rashmi Vij rewarded the winning players and motivated them to play with full enthusiasm in future also.
The results are as follows:
SHOOTING
First Place in boys’ category -Cluster 1 (Teams of Jalandhar, Ludhiana, Jammu and Kashmir)
2nd position- Cluster 4 (Patiala)
Girls:
1st Place- Cluster 4 (Patiala)
Second place-
Cluster 1 (Jalandhar, Ludhiana, Jammu and Kashmir)
The coaches of all sports were also present on this occasion.
