Finals of 13th Sub Junior and 14th Junior National Tchoukball Championship held at Police DAV Public School
The closing ceremony of the three-day 13th Sub Junior and 14th Junior National Tchoukball Championship was held at Police DAV Public School, Jalandhar under the supervision of Mr Munish Bahl, President, Punjab State Tchoukball Federation. Mr M.F. Farooqui, IPS, ADGP, SAP, President, Indian Tchoukball Federation was welcomed by Principal Dr. Rashmi Vij, Secretary General Tchoukball Federation. Mr Naresh Dogra, AIG, PAP and other dignitaries graced the event.
The Results are as follows –
In the Sub Junior Category, in the boys’ group, the first place was secured by Assam, the
second place by Haryana
And the third place was secured by the Maharashtra team.
In the girls’group, in the sub junior group, the first place was secured by Delhi, the second place by Punjab and the third place was secured by the Haryana team.
In the Junior boys’ group, the Assam team was the winner, the second place was secured by Delhi and the Maharashtra team obtained the third position.
In the girls’ group, the first place was secured by Assam, Maharashtra was at the second place and the third place was secured by the Jharkhand team.
In sub junior boys’ category – Deep Jyoti of Assam was declared the best player. The best player among girls was
Nishu Joshi of Delhi.
In junior category – Juthar of Assam and Upasana of Assam were declared the best players among boys and girls respectively.
The chief guest Mr M.F. Farooqui awarded the winning teams. On this occasion, vote of thanks was given by the Secretary General of Indian Tchoukball Federation, Dr. Rashmi Vij. In the end, the folk dance of Punjab, Bhangra was presented. It enthused all present there.
