A meeting of the Counselling Hub and Spoke Schools was organised at Police DAV Public School, PAP Campus, Jalandhar Cantt., under the leadership of Dr. Rajveer Singh Kang, Principal and Hub School Head. The meeting was coordinated by Mrs. Vani Sharma and Mr. Harkamal Singh.
The meeting brought together coordinators from the associated Spoke Schools, namely DRV DAV Centenary Public School, Phillaur; Sarup Public School, Jalandhar; Hemkunt Public School, Jalandhar; British Olivia School, Jalandhar; Seth Hukam Chand SD Public School, Jalandhar; Sant Raghbir Singh AIMS School, Jalandhar; and Ivy World Public School, Jalandhar.
The coordinators reviewed counselling and well-being initiatives undertaken by the Spoke Schools and shared best practices related to mental health awareness, life-skills education, peer support, parental engagement and psychological support services. Future collaborative activities under the Counselling Hub School Model were also discussed.
Principal Dr. Rajveer Singh Kang emphasised the importance of collective efforts in creating safe, inclusive and emotionally supportive learning environments for students. The meeting concluded with a renewed commitment to strengthening counselling services and promoting the holistic well-being of learners across all participating schools.
The meeting reflected the following objective:
“Collaborative partnerships among schools strengthen counselling support systems and play a vital role in nurturing resilient, confident and emotionally healthy learners.”
