Orientation Programme for Class VI

An Orientation Programme for Class VI for the session 2026–27 was organised in the school under the guidance of the Supervisor, Ms. Amita Rathore. The programme began with a warm welcome to the parents and students, marking an important milestone in their academic journey.

The Principal, Dr. Mrs. Rashmi Vij, addressed the gathering and congratulated the parents on their child’s progress. In her insightful address, she emphasized the importance of discipline, values, and parental guidance in shaping responsible and confident individuals. She shared the school’s vision of nurturing physically fit, socially responsible, and morally strong students.

Parents were informed about the evaluation system, including formative and summative assessments, and the importance of maintaining neat and complete notebooks. Focus was laid on developing essential skills such as listening, speaking, reading, writing, critical thinking, and problem-solving.

The programme also highlighted various co-curricular opportunities such as clubs, competitions, morning assemblies, and a wide range of sports activities. Innovative learning methods like skill-based activities, coding, artificial intelligence, art, and “Learning by Doing” (No Bag Day) were introduced to make learning engaging.

Special emphasis was placed on nurturing reading and writing habits, encouraging participation, limiting the use of electronic gadgets, and instilling respect for teachers and the school.

The session concluded with an interactive discussion. Parents appreciated the guidance provided and expressed their trust and satisfaction, feeling reassured that their children are in safe and capable hands.
