Punjabi poem recitation and speech competitions were organized at Police DAV Public School, PAP Campus in the presence of Principal Dr. Rashmi Vij.
The students of class VII recited Punjabi poems on various topics and students of class VIII presented speeches with great confidence. A total of 36 students participated in this competition. The play presented during the occasion delved on the theme of issues being faced by the people of Punjab and the possible solutions for the same. Bhangra at the end of the event mesmerized all present there.
The judges for the event included Ms Paramjit Kaur and Ms Kamaljit.
Principal Dr. Rashmi Vij awarded the winning students. The event was organised under the mentorship of the Punjabi teachers and guidance of supervisor Ms Anju Sehgal.
