COUNSELLING SESSION HELD FOR CLASS TENTH TH AT POLICE DAV PUBLIC SCHOOL
A counselling session was organised for the students of class tenth at Police DAV Public School, Jalandhar under the guidance of Principal Dr Rashmi Vij and supervisor Ms Cinny Malhotra. The session was conducted under the Life skills forum. The theme taken up was- ‘Gratitude- core value for success’. The session aimed at cultivating the value of gratitude among students and helping them become better and happier individuals. Ms Vani and Ms Divya encouraged students to talk about aspects of their lives for which they are grateful and encouraged students to devote a few minutes every day to express gratitude towards God for showering innumerable gifts. A video on the same theme was also played. Ms Cinny Malhotra also stressed on the immense significance of gratitude and guided the students about how to make themselves better students and enhance their academic performance. Students were advised not be stressed about board exams which they can easily face by putting in wholehearted and consistent efforts throughout the session.
