Dussehra, the festival symbolising the triumph of good over evil, was celebrated with great fervour and enthusiasm, spreading the timeless message of righteousness, courage, and virtue.
On this occasion, Yakshita, a tenth-grade student, delivered a speech conveying the message that on Vijayadashami, we should resolve not to be mere spectators but to overcome laziness and ego and follow the path of discipline and truth. The day we defeat the evil within us will truly be a meaningful Vijayadashami.
Through choreography, scenes of Sita Haran, Ram-Ravan war and Ravana’s killing were depicted. Principal Dr. Rajveer Singh Kang reiterated the significance of giving up vices and bad habits and following the path of righteousness.
The event was coordinated by the Ojasvi House.
