An orientation programme for classes Nursery to II was organised in the school on March 18, 2026. The programme began with a warm welcome to the parents and children.
The Principal, Dr. Rashmi Vij, addressed the gathering and welcomed everyone to the Police DAV family. In her inspiring address, she guided parents on effective ways to nurture children and instill values and good habits, helping them grow into responsible and good citizens. She also emphasized the importance of developing a love for school and learning from an early age.
Dr. Vij further elaborated on the vision and mission of the school, which aims to make every child a happy, confident, and fulfilled individual, with unique skills and abilities.
The children, accompanied by their parents, interacted with their respective class teachers. They thoroughly enjoyed exploring the school premises, especially the swings, and showed great excitement about joining school from 1st April.
The parents expressed their happiness at meeting the teachers and appreciated the interactive session with the Principal. They praised her insightful guidance and expressed gratitude for being a part of the Police DAV family.
