Plantation Drive was organised at Police DAV Public School under the able guidance of Principal Dr Rashmi Vij. The event was held under the Mission LiFE titled:
‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’, an initiative by the Ministry of Education, Government of India.
This meaningful drive invited mother–child duos to plant a tree together as a tribute to motherhood and a commitment to a greener tomorrow. This symbolic gesture reflected both love for mothers and responsibility towards Mother Earth.
Mothers along with their wards planted Areca Palms in both the school campus and PAP campus, contributing to a greener environment for all.
The event inspired eco-conscious values in children, and made them conscious about creating a sustainable future.
The event was coordinated by the incharges of the Eco Club.
