Reading a book is akin to conversing with the great minds and getting acquainted with their thoughts. A Scholastic Book fair is being organised
at Police DAV Public School, Jalandhar with the objective of inculcating the habit of reading in students. The fair was inaugurated by Principal
Dr. Rashmi Vij. Being an avid reader herself, she keenly asked students about the book of their interest from the collection displayed. She acquainted the students with the multiple benefits of reading and encouraged the students to have their own collection of books in the intriguing presence of Digital devices and AI. A variety of books appropriate for various age groups are on display in the book fair. It will be held for three days. The books on sale are from Scholastic publication. The event is being held under the initiative of the Readers’ Club and the Literary Club. The students are giving an enthusiastic response and buying books as per their taste.
