From soul-stirring melodies to jaw-dropping dance moves and the inclusion of wit and humour, the stage came alive at this year’s Talent Hunt Competition held for classes ninth and tenth. It was not just a contest, but a grand celebration of raw potential and artistic expression that left the judges and audience thoroughly spellbound.
Principal Dr Rashmi Vij graced the occasion with her benign presence. The jury comprised of Dr Ranjana Chabbra , the head of the department of dance of A Pee Jay College and Dr Sandeep Verma from the department of music from Army Public School. Both are accomplished artists.
The teachers of the dance and music department -Ms Sweety, Ms Laxmi, Ms Reena, Ms Preeti Teena, Ms Laxmiprabha, Mr Nandlal and Mr Francis who had chiselled the skills of the students were also present on the occasion.
The various categories were music instrument, music vocal and dance. The comedy presentations stole the show when guffaws of laughter resounded in the hall. These comical presentations were mentored by Mr Amit Sohal.
Principal Dr. Rashmi Vij was all praise for the talent showcased by all the students and rewarded the winning students. She announced a cash prize for the students who participated in the comedy show and congratulated their mentor Mr Amit Sohal. The driving force behind the show was Supervisor Ms Urvashi Arora.
