Teachers make an immense contribution to society by shaping minds and building futures. They go beyond textbooks, nurturing values, character, and confidence in their students. With patience and dedication, they inspire curiosity, ignite dreams, and guide learners towards their goals.
To celebrate the immense contribution of the worthy mentors, teachers’ day was organized at Police DAV Public School, Jalandhar with a lot of fervour.
During the Teachers’ Day programme, motivational videos were shown to the teachers by honourable Principal Dr Rashmi Vij. In her speech she motivated the teachers to go an extra mile and endeavour to cast a positive influence in the lives of students. She also reiterated the fact that teachers need to be life long learners in order to be in tune with the times and for their personal and professional growth.
On this occasion, teachers who have been associated with the school for the last 20 years and teachers who are a part of the faculty of the school for the last 7 years were honored. Various awards were given to several teachers in recognition of their exceptional services to the institution.
As is the tradition, the winners of the competition- ‘Kuch kar dikhana hai’ were awarded by Principal Dr. Rashmi Vij. On this occasion, teachers showcased their immense talent in dance and also displayed their wit and humour through their side splitting presentations.
