A two-day art workshop was organized today at Police DAV Public School, under the able guidance of Principal Dr. Rashmi Vij. The resource person in this workshop was the eminent sculptor Mr Basudeb Biswas who is Senior Artist and recipient of Punjab Lalit Kala Akademi 2019 Samman.
He has a national and international level art collection.
The workshop was initiated by lighting the lamp. Supervisors Mr Rajkumar, Ms Urvashi Arora, Ms Gargi, Ms Sonia Kukreja, Ms Amita Rathour and Art teachers were also present on this occasion.
In the workshop, low relief work was taught to the students of 6th to 12th standard by the resource person. The children were given valuable tips on how to enhance their skills. The event was coordinated by the Art Club.
