“Igniting Young Minds Through the Power of Mathematics”
A Mathathon Competition was organised at Police DAV Public School, Jalandhar Cantt., on 7th October 2026, under the able leadership of Principal Dr. Rajveer Singh Kang, and supervision of Ms. Gargi Sharma, Supervisor primary wing and Ms. Amita Rathour.
The competition aimed to foster mathematical aptitude, logical reasoning, quick thinking and a healthy spirit of competition among the students. Participants from Classes IV and V were selected through two preliminary rounds. Four teams, comprising two participants each, competed enthusiastically in the final round.
The event was presided over by Principal Dr. Rajveer Singh Kang, who encouraged the young mathematicians with his inspiring words and valuable guidance. He also felicitated the winners by presenting them with badges and certificates.

The Mathathon was a vibrant and intellectually stimulating event, providing students with an excellent platform to showcase their mathematical skills, confidence and teamwork. The enthusiastic participation of the students made the competition a memorable and enriching experience, celebrating the joy of learning mathematics.
