Hindi language forms an important component of Indian Culture, giving it a unique identity. ‘Hindi Diwas’ is a reminder for every Indian to honour the language and take pride in its subtle and inherent elegance and rich literature. To spread awareness about the same, a hawan was organised at Police DAV Public School, Jalandhar Cantt on the occasion of Hindi Diwas. Principal Dr. Rashmi Vij graced the occasion.
After the hawan, Ms Tripta from the Department of Hindi, gave a speech on the importance of the language.
Poems were presented by Ms Ritu Monga and Ms Ashima to reiterate how Hindi is an important component of the Indian Identity.
Doha singing was also presented by Hindi teachers.
The stage was managed by Ms Manisha Kapoor.
Principal Dr. Rashmi Vij congratulated all the teachers on the occasion of Hindi Diwas.
