The ‘Run for DAV’ Marathon was organized today at the Police DAV Public School, PAP Campus, under the aegis of the DAV College Management Committee. The marathon aimed at holistic development of students and inculcating values like sportsmanship. Around 300 students from Police DAV Public School, Dayanand Model School, Lala Jagat Narayan DAV Model School, and Dayanand Model Senior Secondary School, Jalandhar, participated with tremendous enthusiasm and exuberance.
Dr. Rashmi Vij, Principal of the host school, and Mr. SK Gautam, Principal of Dayanand Model Senior Secondary School, Dayanand Nagar, were also present. Principal Dr. Rashmi Vij released balloons and flagged off the marathon.
The marathon began from the premises of Police DAV Public School, passed through Gate No. 5, Gate No. 4, and Gate No. 3 before returning to the school. Prizes were awarded to the winning students. The event was organized under the supervision of Supervisor Mr Raj Kumar.
On this occasion, Principal Dr. Rashmi Vij gave the message to children to follow the path of love, brotherhood and goodwill.
